We met her!

Almost a week ago now Ryan and I met the birth mother. The meeting went pretty well. We met her mom and step dad. We met at a Chinese restaurant and had dinner together. As we would talk sometimes I would forget how young the birth mother is. Then she would say something that would remind me she is young but just does not look it. She really likes to cook and scrap book. She really likes school and gets good grades. Her mom was also nice and had a few questions for us. After the introductions were done it was not awkward at all. We talked and talked. We learned that she has had a pretty normal pregnancy and but now has bad heartburn. The meeting went by really fast but ended with a few pictures to put in his baby book. We probably won't see her again until we go to the hospital.

Last weekend Gina and I went up to Tacoma to meet baby Sara. She is a cutie and very tiny. We stayed one night and had a great visit with Kim and Joel. I had my cell phone on just in case we got the call but we didn't.
