Our book is being shown

Since it is Friday afternoon and I knew I would not be able to contact our adoption clinician until Monday, I called to get an update. Our adoption clinician is on vacation for two weeks now so I have been instructed to call her boss with any questions. I talked to her for about twenty minutes and I really like her. She was happy to answer all of my questions and was glad that I called for an update. Our book is being shown Monday to our first choice birth mother. She is the really young one that we feel is the best match. I was told that she would probably make her decision Monday or Tuesday. She is due 11/8 and since there is almost always a meeting before the final decision is made there is not that much time. I am really glad that I called for an update so I won't feel anxious all weekend to find out if we have been chosen. Well at least I won't feel as anxious. If this birth mother does not work out there are three others that we are a good match for.
