It is Friday night now and we still have not heard anything. I talked with our substitute adoption clinician this afternoon. She let us know that we have a 50/50 chance and that the birth mother really likes us. She said that is had been really hard for the birth mother and she is having a hard time coming to terms with everything that is going on. I pray for her everyday, I can not imagine what she must be going through. I wish there was something that I could do to make this easier on her. We might find out Saturday afternoon if we have been chosen.

We were also told about another birth mother that is due the first part of January. She sounds like a good match as well so we are just waiting to hear from the first birth mother that has our book right now. The birth mother that was due 11/12 has decided to parent her child and the birth mother that is due 1/25 has picked her family so things are moving fast. Our agency is working with 13 birth mothers right now and we were told that we won't be waiting very long.
