Rescheduled

Our clinician called a few hours ago to let us know she was sorry for bugging us on a holiday but she had to reschedule our first home study visit. She had to travel out of town for a "placement" meaning that some family was going to have their dream of parenthood come true either tonight or early tomorrow morning! So, she rescheduled for 9/6. That gives us a little more time to get our house looking perfect. I have been doing some needed organizing and purging to get ready for our first home study visit. It is more for me more than anything, our clinician is not going to walk through our house with a white glove or anything. She really is just going to make sure our house is a safe environment to raise a child. After she looks through our house she will then interview each of us separately for an hour. I am looking forward to this process but at the same time I am a little nervous.
