It seems like I have been posting a lot about Landon's first's but I guess that is what we have up to these days. Landon went hiking for the first time strapped onto dads back. We went with some friends and their little girl. Landon loved being in his carrier. He just looked around and took it all in. We did not go on a real long like(only 2 hours) because I was a little concerned he might not like being strapped in for hours but he proved me wrong. We plan to take a longer hike next time since he enjoyed it so much. For our anniversary this past September I gave Ryan some hiking books and one of them was a kid friendly trail book. Ryan eventually wants to try them all, well we now have 1 down and hundreds to go.

I love the picture of Landon in the pack. He really looks like it is "his" element. Not long before he and his dad can go mountain biking together... with helmets.
