Snow at the Beach

Landon and I have been at the beach for the last three days. My friend Renee invited us to join her scrap booking party with her mom Rose and her mom's friend Shannon. We had a great time and I managed to get a lot accomplished on Landon's baby book. Renee, Rose and Shannon enjoyed spending time with Landon and were really impressed on how good Landon was. It was really cold outside so we did not actually make it out on the beach. Thursday night it started snowing up and down the coast. In Rockaway where we were staying there was not any snow but a lot of rain and hail. Landon and I stayed an extra night so we could caravan back with the rest of the group to make sure everyone made it home safe. Highway 6 and Highway 101 were closed for periods of time because of the storm. Friday morning we heard that this storm brought in the latest snow fall every recorded in the Portland area.
