Yucky
Landon has had an on going diaper rash since he was born so I have been trying anything and everything to heal it up. I called the advice nurse and since it had been bleeding some she said to bring Landon in. Landon's pediatrician Dr. Moshovsky is a really nice guy. You might have seen him on TV before, he has a few commercials out and he is the pediatrician for the kids on the TLC show Little People, Big World. That is not how we chose him though, I just saw him on TV a few days ago. Dr. Moshovsky thought that the rash might be due to a milk allergy so he recommended a different formula for Landon. Landon does not like it one bit as the pictures below show. Poor guy, I am going to try stick with this new formula for a bit and see if that does the trick.

Have you tried Ilex? Ben had a really bad diaper rash when I started potty training him (bleeding, chapped, red, etc.) My friend who is a nurse at Primary Children's said they use this stuff on babies and it works very well. It helped clear his rash up within a day. My friend got it for me at her hospital's pharmacy. She said the stuff acts like a sealant and doesn't let anything in, but you need to make sure and put vaseline over the top of the Ilex so the diaper doesn't stick to their bum. Anyway, it's worth a shot. Hopefully the new formula helps too!
