Snow on the Hill

This morning as Landon and I cuddled we were able to watch it snow. Unfortunately, none of us were able to get much sleep last night. Landon's fever has been gone since at least 7 this morning and he seems to have more of an appetite. The doctors made their rounds and it sounds like we will be able to come home later this afternoon. The diagnosis ... just a tummy bug. We are still waiting on a few more test results to eliminate a few other possibilities.

During this hospital stay Landon has been a trooper. We have been teaching him little bits of sign language to aid in communication for several months now. The last few days Landon has decided to make a few changes to them on his own. When we ask him if he would like "more" of something he pounds his fist to the palm of his other hand with force. It is funny to watch and it seems like he is saying "more now!" The correct way to sign for "more" is a bit more delicate. I am glad that we are still able to laugh when we are having rough days.
