Scrap Book Attack

Earlier this week a good friend of mine and I went shopping for scrap book supplies for our adoption portfolios. As we walked through the isles I started to get a little overwhelmed. Even though I really love to scrap book, I have not bought scrap booking supplies in quite some time. There are so many different types of embellishments that I never knew existed. My friend that came with me is a scrap book pro so she helped me pick out the right stuff. We ended up only getting paper and adhesives with this trip to the craft store. We decided save the rest for another day. I lucked out and every item that I needed was 40% off. After we have the books put together we will add some embellishments to make them look cute and unique. But don't worry Ryan they won't be too "Girly". My friend and I are getting together next week to get the rough draft put together. Our clinician has to approve it before the rest of the books are completed.

Last night I started going through all of the digital pictures that we have and loaded them to snapfish. Some of the pictures reminded me of fun times that I had forgotten about. We are limited to 24 pages to put our pictures on. It sounds like a lot but as I find pictures of us with friends and family, I don't think that will be enough to show what we are about. Next I will have to sit down and go through several photo boxes to pick the rest of the pictures for our portfolio. I just love pictures!! This project has helped motivate me to try get caught up on my scrap books.
